Bald Eagle Sportsmen’s Association is a privately owned and operated association located in Hugo, Minnesota. We offer rifle, pistol, shotgun & archery practice areas, as well as many community oriented programs. We have a long standing relationship with the surrounding area, and a rich history within the county, dating back to the early 1940’s in what was Oneika township. We are NRA affiliated. The Twin Cities’ best kept secret in shooting facilities!

Public Shooting Hours
Saturdays, April through October, 10 AM to 5 PM
Archery Range – $5, Crossbows & Broadheads allowed on designated targets
Archery Range & 3D or Field Course – $10, 3DCourse includes 20 Rinehart targets, Field Course is 14 targets
Rifle Range – $10 for the 1st gun, $5 for the 2nd gun. $15 max charge per shooter.
Shotgun – Skeet, Trap, and 5 Stand – $6 per round for non-members. Additional hours listed on the public shooting hours tab.
Shooting Schedule
Rifle-Pistol ranges – All of our Rifle and Pistol ranges are open to the public Saturdays 10 AM to 5 PM Saturday, April through October. Sundays 12-5 PM September 18 through October 30 and Monday through Friday October 24 – 28 from 10 AM to 5 PM with BESA Range Safety Officers on duty.
Shotgun ranges – The shotgun range is open to the public on Saturdays 10 AM to 5 PM beginning April 9 till the last weekend in October.
The Trap range is available for walk in groups on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 4 PM until 9 PM May 3rd through Labor Day.
Our Skeet and 5-stand range is available for walk in groups on Monday and Friday evenings from 4 PM until 8 PM May 2nd through Labor Day.
Members may shoot year round Monday through Friday 8 AM – 8 PM and Saturday 10 AM – 5 PM.
BESA is closed: Every Sunday (exceptions September 26 through October 30 above); all Memorial Day Weekend; the entire week of 4th of July; and all Labor Day Weekend
