We welcome you to read the information below, ask any member questions or reach out to the Board of Directors. We also recommend stopping out on Saturdays during public hours. Bring the family, your guns, archery and enjoy the day. We have many opportunities for you to enjoy yourself!



As a member you will get to enjoy:

  • 80 acres of premier land which has multiple range buildings to socialize and meet other members. Archery range with several targets at various yards to practice and sight in. Plus 3D courses that offer you the opportunity to practice at different 3D targets from different heights and real opportunities throughout the woods and grounds of the club. Rifle and Pistol ranges in the 25 yard, 50 yard, 100 yard and 150 yard ranges. Plus a shotgun range that allows you to practice trap, skeet and 5 stand. Endless opportunities for you and your family.
  • The ability to shoot practice rounds 8am-8pm Monday-Friday.
  • The ability to shoot practice rounds 10am-5pm on Saturdays.
  • No shooting of any gun on Sundays, Labor Day weekend, the week of July 4th and Memorial Weekend. (THIS IS MANDATORY OR WE LOSE OUR SPECIAL USE PERMIT WITH THE CITY OF HUGO)
  • With extra training on clay thrower, you can gain access to Trap House #1 on the shotgun range.
  • You have access to Archery anytime unless there is a special event.
  • You may bring up to 3 guests when you come. Just know you are responsible for their actions and ability to follow the range rules.
  • YOU ARE AN OWNER OF THIS CLUB.

How to become a member:

  • You will need a Conceal and Carry License or Purchase to buy permit. This will require you to go to your local police department or sheriffs office and fill out the necessary paperwork and background check.
  • Fill out an application and include a copy or your Conceal and Carry License or Purchase to buy permit. Turn it in to Lynn Arcand, Membership Coordinator.
  • Pay your initiation fee of $100 and yearly due of $85.
  • Be initiated and approved for membership at a General membership meeting. Jan-September.
  • Attend New Member Orientation
  • Pay your dues, $85 and $30/hour for any unworked hours, during the membership renewal, December of every year.
  • Know the Range Rules, Membership bylaws, and ability to sign up and track your volunteer hours.
  • Work 8 hours of volunteer hours as a Range Safety Office on any range or work special events like leagues, gun shows, ground maintenance and many more. It is not the responsibility of the club officers or directors to remind you to work your hours or find things for you todo at the end of the year.

Membership

BESA is accepting new members interested in participating in our events, and maintaining this facility.

Memberships run from January 1st through December 31st each year.
